Let Us Introduce Ourselves…

CA Ventures is a leading real estate company with in-house development and property management expertise. Our mission is to invest in, develop and manage residential and mixed-use developments that serve as pillars of growth in their respective communities – places where people live, work and play. We are a passionate group of people who share the belief that belonging to a community is a fundamental human need. We fulfill this need by building the types of real estate where community is formed. Miami is the next stop in our journey as we endeavor to redevelop the Cloisters Condominiums into a state-of-the-art community with modern design, cutting-edge amenities, and 5-star service. We are partnering with a local group in Miami called Peninsula Investments, comprised of a diverse group of people from across the Americas. They have an international presence with offices in Montevideo, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Lima, Panama and Sao Paulo. CA & Peninsula are very excited to harness our unique experience to bring the best-in-class housing to the Coral Gables community.

About the Project

The CA team has proposed redeveloping the Cloisters Condominiums, just a few blocks from the University of Miami campus, into a state-of-the-art apartment community known as Uncommon Miami. When complete, it will offer thoughtfully designed amenities that, together, create a comfortable, safe, and secure living environment residents will be proud to call home.

The project has been carefully considered for the broader University of Miami community – including students, teachers, lecturers, fellows, researchers and other area professionals – offering proximity to campus without sacrificing access to the city of Miami’s greatest cultural institutions, recreational spaces, restaurants and nightlife.

Our residential community will provide a range of lifestyle-oriented amenities including a robust fitness/wellness center and swimming pool, dynamic workspaces, and numerous gathering areas that encourage spontaneous interaction among residents. The hospitality-level service that is standard in all CA communities will be delivered by the property’s experienced on-site management team. Residents will also enjoy access to 24/7 on-call staff, package delivery management and CA’s Residence Life Program that includes monthly educational programs and events that foster a sense of community.

  • Expanded Housing Options: The new community will draw students away from overcrowded houses within the surrounding neighborhood, eliminating disturbances and allowing both the community and students to thrive.

  • Sustainable Design: LEED and other approaches will be used to achieve an efficient and sustainable approach to conservation and reduction of the project’s carbon footprint.

  • Creating Place: Significant upgrades to the sidewalks and public realm to improve the pedestrian experience for everyone.
